After almost six years, The Golding Group has ended its full-time working relationship with Rococo Restaurants, Catering and The Manhattan OKC. The first client put on retainer upon the launch of The Golding Group in November of 2011, Rococo Restaurants has been the agency’s longest client relationship. This working agreement ended on August 31st, 2017.

Rococo Restaurants owner Bruce Rinehart and The Golding Group CEO Kyle Golding first met when Rinehart opened the original Rococo located at 2825 N. Penn avenue in 2004. The two began their professional relationship shortly after Rinehart opened Rococo Northpark a few years later.

Over the last 5 years, The Golding Group has helped create and managed the Rococo brand identity, advertising and new business development for both restaurant locations and eventually Rococo Catering, Rococo Love Salad Dressing and the newly opened Manhattan OKC in the downtown central business district.

Since 2013, The Golding Group has been recognized by marketing and advertising peers multiple times for their work on behalf of Rococo Restaurants. In 2013, The Golding Group received Awards of Excellence for Integrated Marketing from the American Marketing Association (AMA-OKC) and Integrated Marketing Plan from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC-OKC). In 2014, The Golding Group received the Award of Excellence in Social Media from AMA-OKC and also the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-OKC) for management of multiple Rococo social media accounts. Also in 2014, The Golding Group was awarded the Judges Choice Award coupled with the Award of Merit for Best Special Event from AMA-OKC.

“We have had an amazing time working with Rococo Restaurants on a huge variety of marketing, advertising, product development and special events over the last five plus years. With the successful launch of The Manhattan OKC in March of this year, we felt this was the right time for both of our organizations to explore new opportunities. All of us at The Golding Group wish Chef Rinehart and the whole Rococo / Manhattan OKC family the best of luck in the future. We’re looking forward to expanding our business in new and different ways. This includes attracting client opportunities in Oklahoma City, Philadelphia and new markets as well.”

Excerpt from the Merchant Maverick article What’s the Best Way To Get a Loan For My New Business? featuring quotes from The Golding Group CEO Kyle Golding among others….

Perhaps it’s an understatement to say that starting a business is hard work. With countless judgment calls, details to attend to, plans to make, and business-related things to learn, quite frankly, it’s a wonder that anybody starts a successful business.

One of the biggest decisions an entrepreneur with a fledgling business has to make is how to fund their business. Funding is notoriously difficult for business startups to attain; but on the other hand, additional funding could really jump-start your business.

Should you seek outside funding? If so, when? Making those judgment calls can be hard. We’ve asked some successful entrepreneurs how they’ve funded their business, and here’s what we learned…

Most Start with Bootstrapping

Most entrepreneurs started with bootstrapping. In fact, according to a survey performed by The Alternative Board (TAB), two-thirds of small business owners surveyed self-funded their business.

The co-founder of VORTTX Training and Testing, Kyle Golding, has a similar story. Golding and his partner wanted to make sure they had a feasible idea before investing money in their business:

Our approach was putting some personal money (neither of us mortgaged a house or anything with risk) into the basics like website, trade show display and digital marketing (less than $5,000 total) to very strategically approach the most likely audience only. This laser focus might seem too risky to some but we knew each limited dollar spent was going directly at a very likely target.

Golding advises that,

The most important thing to do is determine if you have a profitable business concept, not how fast can [you] get funding for the first version of a product or next great idea. . . . If you play the long game with hustle and patience, you can build something not only profitable but sustainable.

The Golding Group is excited to announce our first venture capital partnership and launch of a new SaaS product and company: VORTTX Training and Testing

After many months of development, testing, trial runs and field test the VORTTX Training system is now ready for public use. This private investment partnership is the first of many to come. The Golding Group are more than just consultants for hire, we create viable businesses out of ideas.

VORTTX is Virtual Online Tabletop Exercises for Healthcare Facilities. A better way to train facility staff!

More captivating than traditional tabletop exercises and less expensive than 3rd party facilitators, the VORTTX scenario training changes variables, situations and outcomes based on the choices of staff for an evolving experience. With 3,000+ potential combinations, staff will not be disengaged by repeating situations or boring presentations.

The VORTTX system is a highly effective and efficient way to train and test facility staff in groups, teams or individual basis. Improve staff preparation while lowering training cost and scheduling hassles with the VORTTX online solution.

VORTTX is designed to be the most user-friendly variable outcome training solution available. Multi-part, multi-level scenarios provide a unique experience every time. VORTTX training utilizes shift, time-of-day and real world complications to present robust training and testing opportunities.
