Our CEO, Kyle Golding, was a judge in the High Growth category for this year’s Entrepreneur’s Cup collegiate pitch competition. The Entrepreneur’s Cup, presented by Love’s Travel Stops, is a statewide collegiate business plan competition that simulates the real-world process of researching a market, writing a business plan and making a presentation to potential investors. Now in its 20th year, i2E is helping build the next generation of entrepreneurs in Oklahoma.

The High Growth Division of the competition is where aspiring entrepreneurs can kick-start their journey. Students from any college campus in Oklahoma are invited to write a business plan around a high-growth concept. This division is open to students across all Oklahoma public and private college and university campuses. The students craft a visionary business plan in any high-growth industry to compete for the top prize.

Eight undergraduate semifinalist teams will make a 20-minute investor presentation about their business opportunity. Judges will evaluate the presentation’s delivery, content and team’s ability to handle challenging questions by the judges. Six teams will advance to the final round based on these criteria. The six Graduate and six Undergraduate finalists will present the following day to determine the first, second and third-place winners.
