“They say “you can never go home again” but I say that’s just not true. In fact, I see an opportunity in going back to where it all began to improve on what’s there, create value in different ways and elevate everyone involved. Challenge accepted!” – Kyle Golding

Today, we announce Kyle Golding’s new role as the Director of Corporate Relations and Special Projects for the esteemed Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University, starting on May 20th, 2024. This position holds immense significance as it allows Golding to contribute to the growth and development of his alma mater, utilize his network of business contacts and continue his economic development work for our city and state.

Having earned his BA from OCU in 1992, Golding has nurtured personal and professional relationships with faculty, staff and fellow alumni. Now, he is returning professionally to support the OCU School of Business further. He will stay committed to maintaining a select few consulting clients for The Golding Group and his involvement in the business community activities with the Oklahoma Venture Forum and Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma.

In his new role at OCU, Golding will develop and maintain strategic partnerships with corporate entities, foster relationships to enhance the School’s image and reputation, drive student enrollment and build pathways for student internship placement. He will also engage with internal and external stakeholders in designated fundraising and alumni relations activities in collaboration with University Advancement and serve as a liaison to the Admissions Office to support student recruitment efforts.

Additionally, Golding will oversee special projects that align with the School’s mission and goals, such as the OKC Thunder Leadership program, summer business academy and a soon-to-be-developed podcast for the Meinders School of Business.

The OCU Meinders School of Business prepares graduate and undergraduate students to be socially responsible leaders in a global economy through teaching excellence and faculty scholarship in business practice and disciplines. Faculty and students engage with the business community, local government and regulatory agencies in teaching-learning. OCU offers students a variety of in-demand degrees, including several fully online and STEM-designated options, as well as professional education and certificate options for the life-long learner.
