New year, new #NeoMarketing podcast opening and graphics but the same attitude and expert advice for 2019. On Ep61 we debunk the idea “Culture Eats Strategy for Breakfast/Lunch”. Our CEO Kyle Golding makes the definitive statement: “That’s just stupid!” The Golding Group partners will debate the merits of strategy, corporate culture and the value of each. Which comes first, is more important and necessary for business success? We discuss, you decide. On each episode of the #NeoMarketing podcast, The Golding Group partners Pritch Pritchard, APR and Kyle Golding briefly (12-15 mins.) discuss best practices, latest trends and modern techniques for professional business communications including advertising, marketing, digital channels, social media, public relations and alternative options. Our goal is to be educational, informative and (hopefully) entertaining. The Golding Group partnered with the Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma to create a new business model and strategy with updated processes to lead the 88-year-old non-profit organization into the future of business development, communication and technology.

BBB of Central Oklahoma President Kitt Letcher details the successful partnership and how working with us has benefited the organization.

“My name is Kitt Letcher. I am the President and CEO of the Better Business Bureau serving Central Oklahoma. We work with businesses here in Oklahoma to make them better every single day. The Golding Group helped us look at our entire business and look at it holistically, transforming it to be a new, current, modern BBB but also helps us thrive as an organization. For us, it’s been a really exciting process. The thing that I love most about working with The Golding Group is that I know I’m going to get really honest feedback. I’m going to get information that helps us do better and that makes us better as an organization and what is going to keep us moving forward for the next hundred years. I think that’s what every business owner wants. That’s how we make progress. It’s been a great process for us and one I would really recommend.”

6 Reasons These Entrepreneurs Crush It While Others Merely Succeed.

Confidence, risk-taking, delegation: America’s most remarkable entrepreneurs have a few key traits in common….. Knowledge.  Felicite Moorman was intellectually precocious. At 16, she was calculating FICA taxes for the movie theater where she worked. In college, she had four majors. During her first year of law school, she sued AT&T for overcharging her father on roaming charges. When AT&T didn’t show up to small-claims court, she won by default. When AT&T didn’t pay, she filed a claim against one of its properties. AT&T settled. Today Moorman is co-founder and CEO of Stratis IoT, a Philadelphia-based business that develops software for remotely controlling lights, locks and alarms in apartment houses and dorms. The industry is changing fast, and Moorman studies it voraciously, deluging Stratis’s Slack channels with articles and white papers….. Read the rest of the feature here.

Too often, really smart people running a business or non-profit organization focus on day-to-day tactics without creating a strategy first. If you will put in the time and effort to craft (or adjust) your strategy before moving through the process then you have a much higher chance at positive results.  What is the #1 reason so many business leaders fail to work the process in the right way? Too much focus on what you’re doing to sell your product / service (act now) and too little focus on why you’re doing it (conceptual). Today, we discuss putting the Why first and the proper process from start to finish for effective, efficient marketing with great ROI. Plus, we have a bonus business book recommendation on strategic thinking. Adaptive Business Models For Success
NeoMarketing

The key to business success? Not being trapped in the “how we have always done it” mentality or business model. The path the victory is full of twist and turns, you need to be prepared to adjust as you move forward. Technology is changing how business gets done every day. Not just tech businesses, but all businesses. The need for adaptability has never been greater.  So how can you commit to a strategy and business plan if you need to change it tomorrow? By creating measured flexibility in your plan and not holding hard and fast to old ways of “how business goes” from years past. Even if you wrote your business plan just a few years ago, it still might be in need of updating and adjustments. Creating a plan is a good idea and staying as consistent as possible is also a good idea. But being overly rigid to your plan without adjustments is a recipe for disaster. Even worse, when you hold to your original plan for too long due to ego, vanity or hubris of the decision makers.  Pay attention to your numbers, customer feedback, trends and even the competition as ways to determine when and where to make changes as needed. Do NOT hold your company back because of old business plans. Subscribe to the NeoMarketing podcast on iTunes http://bit.ly/TheGoldingGroup and videos on YouTube http://bit.ly/GoldingGroupYouTube. What is the key to success? We’ll tell you on this episode of the #NeoMarketing Podcast. The topic was inspired by an episode of the #SaturdayMorningHustle podcast our CEO Kyle Golding produces each week. www.saturdaymorninghustle.com What is the definition of success, and what will you if you reach your own success goals? How will you react, how would success change you and what does you being successful have to do with other people? All items we discuss this week. How would being a success in business, in your community or your personal life change you? What would you be able to do, for yourself or others, that you can’t do now? What doors do you expect success to open for you?  We answer these questions and give examples of how very successful people create value for others by sharing their influence, knowledge or good name.  Subscribe to the NeoMarketing podcast on iTunes http://bit.ly/TheGoldingGroup and videos on YouTube http://bit.ly/GoldingGroupYouTube.
